Well, let me put it this way... something changed. If you did not upgrade TestComplete, then the tool itself is not the problem. If you did not change the application, then the application is not the problem. So, what is left? What is left is how you are executing the tests. If that's not changed, then our other assumptions must be re-examined. What about the web browser? Are you running under a different browser or browser version?
This is a troubleshooting exercise... SOMETHING changed... I don't know what, but a test script doesn't just suddenly stop working for no reason. So, I'd say to go back through your check list, query your developers, etc... find out if ANYTHING changed, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant... maybe they changed a base class on the component. Maybe someone added some AJAX to the page that wasn't there before... but suffice it to say, something changed and, until we know what that is, trouble shooting via a web forum is going to take a while.
Hi Robert Martin,
One more observation, I tried to execute the same keyword to select the drop-down list value from some other test machine and it worked fine.
Can you please let me know what all are the things I need to compare to correct the issue on my machine.
Thanks

I'd start with examining the web browser that you're using versus the web browser on that other machine.... or even operating system. Different versions of Windows could have different drivers and such. Windows 10 Internet Explorer 11 is slightly different than Windows 7 IE 11. Chrome versions may be different. One machine may have certain plugins/add-ons in their web browser that the other may not.
This is where I would start. Something is different between the two machines, start making a list.
