Problems with TestComplete 10.3 and Android 4.4.2

Hi everyone,



I have some problems with TestComplete 10.3 and Android 4.4.2. I use a Galaxy Note 3 and when I execute my tests on it all is OK until I have to use the keyboard.



If I use the keyboard, the Galaxy Note 3 doesn't write anything and the keyboard is blocked. After the test, the problem still continue until I kill Samsung keyboard task.



In the beginning I thought it was a Samsung problem but after many test, it seems to be a TestComplete issue.



Is it a known issue ? Does somebody have the same trouble ?

    Hi Tanya,



    It's appear on every apps (Internet, Google Search and my application).

    I don't use white box testing because it's not really my application, I have an apk but I can't access to the code.



    I just note that on Android 4.3, TestComplete change the settings available in the settings panel. When I launch a command (I tried to open the settings panel whith a shell command, touch an image and tap a point with ShellExecute), I lost the availability to set a wi-fi access point, the accessibility settings are uninstalled for example.



    I think is a good idea to speak with the suport team, may be they can open a bug.

    Hi Tanya,



    I did that but it's not the issue.

    The problem appears when TestComplete open a window or an activity with a focus on a text box. At this moment, the keyboard appears and it's impossible to click on it or on the return button.



    We find this : Support Galaxy note 3

    And we disabled the parameters but it don't work...
