Have you considered using an array instead?   That is really all you are doing here.  

function TestArray() {
  // Define an array
  var myArray = ["TestComplete", "SoapUI", "JavaScript", "VBScript"];

  // Access array elements
  Log.Message("First Element: " + myArray[0]);

  // Add an element
  myArray.push("Automation");

  // Iterate through the array
  for (var i = 0; i < myArray.length; i++) {
    Log.Message("Element " + i + ": " + myArray[i]);
  }

  // Store the array in a project variable
  Project.Variables.MyJsArray = myArray;
}
