Outlook 2010 Contact Cards
Hi there,
I'm having some issues identifying Contact Cards in Outlook 2010. It's the primary reason why I'm looking into Test Complete, as our current solution can't do anything about them, as well as a few other things that Test Complete has been able to do beyond that.
What I need to do is view the current Contact Cards in order to see if something exists, and then click on it to open it. Right now our current solution does a search for the contact, and then based on static text ("Current View") it goes down so many pixels to click and open the Contact Card.
If we could find a way to dynamically find a contact without searching for it, and then clicking and/or opening it without our awful brute-force method, we'd definitely be looking at licensing Test Complete, as that is exactly what we need.
I have tried various methods of Find, FindAll, FindChild, FindAllChildren, etc., but I don't believe I've been doing it right as I cannot find any children at all. I also haven't had much luck in finding specific items in Outlook, which leads me to believe that I've been implementing it incorrectly to begin with, even with extensive use of the documentation.
Can someone give me a hand with this?
