Object Spy On Menu Items

Hi,

Currently I am testing a tool called frames. The issue is that I am not able to object spy on a menu or menu(Items).

I am on able to focus on the menu bar also tried object spying on different applications(i.e notepad, think40, etc...) the issue is still the same.

I tried running a keyword test but I am not looking for that. Need an object spy.

Just wanted to know why am I not able to object spy on menu bar or it's items.
