When i'm trying to capture elements with spy it is showing below error. most of the time I'm not able to capture elements with "Drag and capture" or "Point and fix" features as it select whole window instead of the particular element. anyone facing this kind of issue?

I'm using TestComplete 15.47V with SmartBear Test Extention 14.0.0V and executing on Edge (130.0) browser. however, for chrome (130.0.) also have same issue.
A stable version that I use is,

on the latest versions of Chrome and Edge.
I've had issues with previous and latest versions of TestComplete, and I've always reverted to this version (v15.55.53.7)

Any idea why elements cannot be captured using the Spy? The recorder is working, but when I tried to capture an element with the Spy, it did not allow me to identify the element correctly. Instead of capturing the element, it captured the whole window.

It's also helpful to mention what version of TestComplete and Browser you are using.
I suggest you re-install browser extension as follow:
1-uninstall browser extension
2-reboot
3-Install browser extension
3-reboot
If does not solve the problem contact SmartBear support.
I suggest you re-install TestComplete, and ensure you have SmartBear Test Extension installed too.
