Node locked license could not correctly recognize current machine's name

Hi, 

 

I encountered the following issue:

 

TestComplete is logged off from the machine of ABC and says it could not find a license. When try to activate my node locked license again, it said it has already been used for the machine of ABC which is exactly the machine TC is running on.

 

Any help is appreciated

  • The license does not of itself depend on the machine name.  The license service may try to look for other License Managers by machine name, but you'd have to configure it to do that.

     

    I might guess that you've inadvertently activated the license on some other machine (XYZ).  Running on ABC you still can't find the license and now trying to activate the license again will fail saying that you'd already activated the license (you can only use a license key once).
