Node locked license could not correctly recognize current machine's name

The license does not of itself depend on the machine name.  The license service may try to look for other License Managers by machine name, but you'd have to configure it to do that.

I might guess that you've inadvertently activated the license on some other machine (XYZ).  Running on ABC you still can't find the license and now trying to activate the license again will fail saying that you'd already activated the license (you can only use a license key once).
