NameMapping has 650 mb of size and TestComplete cannot handle with it

    Open the Namemap file in any text editor and look for this



    <TypeInfo>

    xxx

    xxx

    xxx

    xxx

    </TypeInfo>



    and delete the whole section



    Make sure you backup the file before you do this

There was a similar issue in TestComplete 9.0 - the size of the Name Mapping file was increasing after each test run. This issue was fixed later.


If you are using TestComplete 9.0, I suggest that you update the product version. After updating, you will need to change the Store Code Completion option as Simon suggested.
