You should be able to find the version, in your SmartBear Portal via https://my.smartbear.com/ or https://manage.smartbear.com/

Hi,
I'm using TestComplete 15.47V with SmartBear Test Extention 14.0.0V and executing on Edge (130.0) browser. however, for chrome (130.0.) also have same issue.

A stable version that I use is,

on the latest versions of Chrome and Edge.
I've had issues with previous and latest versions of TestComplete, and I've always reverted to this version (v15.55.53.7)

Any idea why elements cannot be captured using the Spy? The recorder is working, but when I tried to capture an element with the Spy, it did not allow me to identify the element correctly. Instead of capturing the element, it captured the whole window.
focusing only up to the window. not for the specific elements.

It's also helpful to mention what version of TestComplete and Browser you are using.

I suggest you re-install browser extension as follow:
1-uninstall browser extension
2-reboot
3-Install browser extension
3-rebootIf does not solve the problem contact SmartBear support.

I suggest you re-install TestComplete, and ensure you have SmartBear Test Extension installed too.
