Lose TGrid Delphi components Properties

hi!

I have a problem. when I launch my test scenario, after when I inspect a TGrid Delphi component with the object target properties , I have many Properties of the TGrid , like TGrid.Datalink or TGrid.DataSource. After when I continue my test scenario (disable the breakpoint) and when I inspect an other TGrid Delphi I lose many properties of this TGrid. So I verify my Project.pjs and my Project.mds, and in Open Application >General  I have NativeVBObject and NativeDelphiObject installed

see my attachments

So have you an explication for this problem why I lose properties of The TGrid Delphi object?

I have many error like Error:Member not found on many properties of TGrid

  • Hi Andry,

What exactly version of TestComplete are you using? Please note that the latest version is 8.60 and if you have a previous version, please install the latest one and check whether the issue occurs with it.

Is your Delphi application compiled with debug information? Please note that the extended support for complex controls feature works without problems only if the tested application is compiled with debug information. You can find more information on this along with details on how to correctly compile a Delphi application in the Open Applications in Delphi help topic.

Please let me know your results.
  • Hi!

I have TestComplete 7.52. I have a problem because sometimes I have these properties of Grid and sometimes not... when I Inspect the T*Grid with the TestComplete Tools Target...

My  Delphi application is compiled with debug information.

    Thanks
  • Hi!

I have the same problem on TestExecute 7.52. I have tcDelphiHook.dll
which you've send for TestComplete, and I need the same dll for
TestExecute 7.52. Do you have this dll for TestExecute 7.52?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have this patch for TestExecute 7.52. The problem is fixed in TestComplete/TestExecute 8.
