Integrate TestComplete with Test Link

Hi...



It will be great help, if you could help me on "How to integrate TestComplete with Test Link". If possible, could you please provide a link to steps OR give me the steps to do the same.

    Hi,


    TestComplete does not provide special support for the integration with Test Link. However, you can try integrating TestComplete with this tool via the command line or via COM.     Was the COM method useful?

    Were you able to succesfully integrate Testlink?

    Hi Ujwal, I tried the link which Margaret suggested but it looked complicated :) and also, I'm not a hardcore developer to write api's or huge code to integrate TC with TL. Sorry I could not help you.

    Hi Ujwal, We are not using Testlink now... so I din't get chance to do some R&D on integration... Thank, Anil

    Just wanted to know if any body has the solution of the below queries/problems related to test complete:



    1. I want to integrate the Teslink with Test Complete. Is this possible? If YES, Please provide steps to be followed for this.

    2. Is there any alternative open source tool which can fill in the requirement of test link and can be easily integrated with test complete. I need this for showcasing the summary report of automation cycles.

    3. Are there any addons/plugins which can be added to test complete for configuring and customizing the report to showcase the detailed level of script execution result.



    Please share this on priority as this is required on urgent basis,

    SmartBear provides a special test management tool - QAComplete. It has a built-in integration feature with TestComplete. I suggest that you consider using the tool.
