IE9 Tabbed Browser Test Complete does not playback when I run the Keyword test

Is there anyone out there who can help with a playback issue I'm having with IE9 and tabbed browsers? I'm a novice user and not technically minded so any constructive step by step processes would be appreciated.

An app. we use opens a new tab browser during recording. I then stop recording and record a new test for separate tests within the tabbed browser. The new test records successfully.
On playback the test is stopped by the system because of an Ambiguous recognition of the tested object.
Am using silver light 4 - I've run the patch recommended for all the xap files associated and have placed the new xap files in the
server folder to allow test complete to run silver light.
I am open to work arounds, I really would like to just get my test to run.
