How to Reuse the child hierarchy in Name mapping


Team,



I have two objects with same hierarchy.. How can i reuse the child hierarchy in name mapping structure..



I believe mapping child separately for each object is not a good approach due to maintainability drawbacks...(Need to update hierarchy in two places if there is any change in child objects)



Is there any better ways.

    Hi Srinivasan,

     


    Two objects are mapped differently as TestComplete uses properties whose values are unique (they are not the same). If you believe that you need to have one mapped object that will refer to different objects in the object tree, you need to modify the mapped criteria - you need to remove the properties whose values are different.
