In our new build, the feature was broken. Have to wait till the next build before I can try your suggestion. I will post here once I can verify.
Thanks
Dave
A little helpful hint for you as well ....
Your Alias names are horrible.
The whole point of using an Alias is to make it more readable than the long name the object store uses.
Personally, I would change:
Aliases.browser.pagePatientIdave80719204445Searc.f
To something more like:
Aliases.browser.PatientPage.Form.SearchBox
Which I think you'll agree, is a lot easier on the eye.

Hi Colin
I really appreciate your help. To be honest, I was afraid doing so will kill everything! I do agree that it is much more easier to understand when renamed the way you suggested. Going forward, that's what I will do.
I pretty much taught myself very little that I know about TestComplete. I have watched all the videos here in smartbear site as well as youtube. Read everything I can find relevant to what I am trying to do, learning as I go.
Thank you very much!

No problem. I learnt in much the same way with QTPro before I started using TC.
The name mapping feature in TC is good. But it could be better. But one of it's strongest points is the Alias map. It can both make your code easier to read AND act as a "translation layer" (for want of a better description) to your full object map ... if it's set up well at the start. Much more pain to realise this six months down the line and try and retro-fit a nicer Alias/Map setup.
