How can I change the license

Hello,
I installed TestComplete with a 30-day trial version.
Now I would like to switch in TestComplete to my business ID based license. After I uninstalled the 30-day version and downloaded and installed the new version from https://community.smartbear.com , I still see my 30-day trial version (licebse) displayed.

    Switch to SmartBear ID-Based Licensing, and sign in

    and just carrying on using TC. One of the modules shown, may expire, if you don't have a license for it.

      If you don't see the menu option, then most likely, you are using SmartBear ID-Based Licensing.

    Ok. Thanks. But how can I switch from the trial version to my company account? I can't find this option :-/

      Click on Switch to Key-Based Licensing - the menu item will change

    I tried that too. When I then click on "Use a SmartBear ID-based license", TC starts again immediately with my 30 day trial version account

      Select Use a SmartBear ID-based license and sign-in. If you can use TC without issues, and you have the modules that you require, then you don't need to do anything. The 'Show User Profile Dialog' icon (top right) indicates the licenses you have (trial and purchased license).

      It will only be an issue, if the license expires and you're not able to use TC.

    Hi,

     

    Another possible option might be to login into manage.smartbear.com and assign proper license to your account.
