Hi Gamasiph,

 

Is your Excel file in the C:\ drive root, as in C:\Book.xls? Writing to the drive root requires elevated permissions. You need to run TestComplete as Administrator for it to be able to write to the drive root.

 

Alternatively, create the Excel file inside some folder, such as C:\Tests\ or the project folder - the issue won't occur in this case.
