14 years agoFireFox and Chrome support in TestComplete
Esteemed Web testers!
We have been fine-tuning our capabilities around the browser support. We started with some radical changes in our approach
http://blog.smartbear.com/post/11-11-03/web-testing---how-testcomplete-keeps-up-with-firefox/
and continued to improve it over the last few months.
What you can expect from TestComplete now is better than ever and timelier than ever support for the new versions of FireFox and Chrome. In between minor releases, our updates for browser versions are posted on TestComplete downloads page:
http://support.smartbear.com/downloads/testcomplete/
We generally plan to make Beta patches available roughly within a week of the public release of a version, and a final patch no later than a month after release, but practically much sooner. These patches then will be folded into the next minor release after they are first published. We will be posting announcements about Beta and full patches for browsers on this forum, so check frequently.
Happy testing!
