Find image held on file within current window on screen (Adobe Reader)
Hi All,
I've been looking at regions, picture.compare etc etc, but if I'm understanding correctly, none of these do quite what I want....
I have a jpg file stored locally. I gained this file by opening a PDF file, copying the image, pasting into MS Paint (hi tech!) - cropping and saving.
Going forward, in my test this PDF will be dynamically generated by our application. I can then open it in Adobe - and in theory, the image will be there on screen in Adobe Reader again.
I want to be able to look for the content of "mylocallysavedfile.jpg" within the on screen Adobe window.
Can this be done?

Hi Steve,
I guess that the "Finding an Image Within Another Image" article should give you some clue how your task can be implemented.
