Facing issue on clicking of a button on pop up screen which gets opened after clicking a menu option

Query: Facing issue on clicking of a button on pop up screen which gets opened after clicking a menu option

I tried both UI recording as well as script recording for this, but in no case scenario passes until the final new deal creation screen. Currently 

For illustration purpose I have drawn the sketch - 

1. Home screen of desktop application, clicking on 3rd button/panel, opens up the new screen
2. Query deal screen while screen1 remains in background. Now on second screen, click menu option "Deal" and it opens up submenus and then click on 3rd option "New Deal" . This opens up the New Deal screen (3) in background and along with this it also opens up one more pop up with 3 buttons at top left of the windows desktop as shown in Windows desktop sketch. User has to select one of the button, mostly lets say 2nd button on this "DealType" pop up which then goes off the screen and focus is now highlighted to "New Deal Creation" 3rd screen. In this all other screens 1, 2 remain in background. 

Tried recording this scenario using UI/ script but it is not able to click 2nd button on "DealType" pop up which gets opened on windows desktop. Not sure it keeps searching that button and does not get it.
