Extension not working in Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90

Tried to run some tests in Chrome this morning and it didn't work.  The extension seems to be blocked regardless of the fact that it is enabled in the extension listing.  Did some research and it appears that Chrome, as of 4/14/2015, has stopped natively supporting some plugins that use NPAPI.  Is the TestComplete plugin in this listing?

Here's the article I found regarding the subject.  It includes a temporary fix.

  • I contacted support and this is what they sent me:

    1) In Chrome navigate to chrome://flags/#enable-npapi

    2) Enable NPAPI

  • I am having the same problem as well, however I have been running my keyword tests this morning without fail. I come back from lunch and now it doesn't work!!! I've done the standard disable/enable the testcomplete extension. I have reinstalled testcomplete with no avail. This is quite annoying. The test run with IE, however I need to run my test in Chrome! argh!
