Expand all in keyword test

Every so often all the parts of my keyword test collapse. So I have to go through it and expand them again if I need to edit them. Not sure if there is a way to expand all already, but I can't find it. Sure would be nice. I mean the + and - buttons next to like an if statement.

  • Hello Chuck,

You can use the Expand All and Collapse All buttons. Follow the steps below to make them visible:

    1. Right-click on any available toolbar space and select Customize...

    2. Switch to the Commands tab in the invoked Customize dialog.

    3. Select Edit on the 'Categories:' list.

    4. Drag Expand All and Collapse All from the 'Commands:' list to the Project Explorer toolbar.

Also, you can use the Ctrl-Alt-A and Ctrl-Alt-C shortcuts correspondingly.

  • Hi Nick,

Currently, there is no way to do this. We have a suggestion to implement this feature in our database, and your request has increased its rating.

As an alternative, you can try using the "*" keystroke to expand a specific node and "-" to collapse it.

  • I often run into this problem. It would be very helpful if there was an Expand/Collapse all option within keyword tests. With TC9 (or 9.1) it's an option in the project Test Item. I'd love to see it within keyword tests themselves.

    Thank you.
