Error when testing site using custom validator MaskedEditValidator

We have a field on witch we have associated a MaskedEditValidator, and despite when a user uses the site no problem occurrs, when testing with TestComplete the field is errased after the simulated input.

This causes the test to fail not allowing to proceed with the remaining steps, since the input is necessary to proceed with the remaining operations.

Is there a solution, other than removing the MaskedEditValidator, to go arround this problem?
