Error on TestComplete 9

My name is Aldrey Pires and work in the company Indra | Politec as Test Analyst.

I have a question in TestComplete program and would like to help me.

The system I'm working on are two modules in which I am running the tests. It is a Java Desktop System, a standalone executable.

When I run a line test that the value of the item is equal to "Text" and its operation is "SetTex", it generates an error in the information:

----------

An error occurred while accessing the "Keys" method or property of the "Table" object.

The object or one of its parent objects was not found.

    Hi Aldrey,

From the image (that you have attached) , I can say that , the desired object is not found when test is running.

Could you please remap it and try to run it ?

This error also occurs when there is change in object hierarchy. I would also recommend you to have a look at "Extended Find" option. This might resolve your problem.

Also , to add further , please try to give unique properties whilst mapping a object , It might be the case the , the object has same properties as other and it creates problem while identifying the particular object.

I hope this has been of some help.

    Good afternoon guys,

I greatly appreciate your help Vajindar and Tanya. Vajindar what you said helped me too, because I could see where it was the root of the problem. In the "wind caption was" no information and had to reference the "shell" that sought.

    Thanks for all.

    Merry Christmas to you
