Does TestComplete supports .Net application (Desktop) developed using DevExpress controls v10.2??

Hi,



We have a desktop (.Net) application developed using DevExpress controls v10.2. When we record the script using TestComplete v9.2, recoding the objects in a grid as single entity as "GridControl1" with x-y coordinates as the parameters but not as the individual objects. When we playback the test, same test objects in GridControl1 are not get identified hence test fails.



Also, Developer Express Control Support plugin is added to my TestComplte already, but not worked out.



Please let me know whether TestComplete supports DevX10.2 controls, if yes, what should be done to achieve this??

    Hi Naresh,


     


    According to the "Supported Developer Express Controls" article, TestComplete supports several grid controls v. 2010.2. Is the control you are testing specified in this list? If it is, please check whether your tested application is recognized as Open - in the Object Browser, you should see the WinFormsObject objects.
