We use the IBM BPM platform and would like to use TestComplete for automation. Is this platform supported? Have anyone around used TestComplete on this platform successfully? Any feedback would be welcome..

I'm not familiar with the IBM BPM platform. As far as I understand this is a desktop application. TestComplete supports the huge variety of the desktop applications (see Desktop Application Testing). Unfortunately, I don't know which technology was used to build the mentioned software.
Please keep in mind that for unsupported application types, TC is able to run tests in black-box mode (by using coordinate-based actions and keystrokes). Also, it provides support for Microsoft Active Accessibility and UI Automation, which allows you to test unsupported application types in a more reliable and convenient way than black-box.
