delay region checkpoint

Hi all,   is there any possibility to delay region checkpoints in general? (via eventhandler, script,...) I know that there is autowait timeout but that's not what I need.   I need every checkpo...

    Write your own region checkpoint function NewRegionCheckpoint that contains

    Delay

    standard region checkpoint

     

    and use that everywhere
