Tanya - you're right, a Visual Studio license is required in addition to the TestComplete license making this a more expensive solution. I have also realised it is harder to debug the current solution compared to having all code native to TestComplete and I found it very difficult/impossible to get code coverage information via tools such as AQTime.
The more I think about it the more convinced I am that I should port all the code to TestComplete and forget about using VS and connected apps
