Hi Dave,
Restore the docking by clicking the View | Desktop | Restore Default Docking menu item.

The View | Desktop | Restore Default Docking process did not work. The Restore Default Docking process has been useful for me in the past but it did not fix this situation. - TanyaYatskovskaSmartBear Alumni (Retired)
Hi Dave,
Please right-click somewhere in the form editor and select Show Components Palette from the context menu. What is the result?
- dave_ganterOccasional ContributorThe result when the context menu comes up is: Two of the menu choices, "Export to file" and "Import from file" are active choices and the other 15-or-so choices, including "Show Component Palette" are inactive ( greyed out ).

Hi Dave,
It means that the panel should be active and available for you. Make sure that it's not pinned somewhere.
Can you post here a picture of your screen when the Form editor is opened in TestComplete?
- dave_ganterOccasional ContributorTanya -
A PDF file is attached which contains three screen shots.

Added note: The forum did not like the .pdf file extension. I was able to attach as a .docx file extension - TanyaYatskovskaSmartBear Alumni (Retired)
Hi Dave,
Have you updated to TestComplete 9.31? I think that the reinstallation of TestComplete will help in this situation.
