Compatability of testcomplete for tests which use UNIX and Oracle SQL developer

Hi




I need to understand whether we can use Testcomplete to run testing of DB where DB is accessed via Oracle SQL developer and UNIX shell scripts are run to populate the DB tables?




Please reply ASAP.

    Hi Kavita,



    TestComplete is Windows application and operates/can be installed on Windows systems only.

    However, it can send database queries via ODBC/ADO to any databases running on any environment (by using relevant database driver) which means it is not a problem to execute DB query against a database running on the non-Windows environment.
