followed those steps and now the chrome's smartbeart extension is no longer disabled.. but when I use the TestComplete object spy, there's the same message that the extension is disabled or not installed.

So, just to recap:
1) You've upgraded to TC 12.42
2) You've downloaded the necessary patch for Chrome 65
3) You've updated the Chrome extension for TC
Correct?
