What Firefox objects do you see in the Object Browser?

Can you describe the problem in detail? What steps did you perform, what were the results and how do they differ from the results you expect?

Below is the steps I performed

1. Goto Workspace, Under Operations > Checkpoints > Property Checkpoint. Drag and drop that item into the workspace.

2. It will prompt me with 3 options:-

    - Drag the target point to the object

    - Point and Fix

    - Select Object in visualizer

3. I selected Point and Fix

4. It will bring me to the web browser. It normal case, when I mouse over a component e.g. textbox in the web page, it will be boxed it up in red box. However for that particular website, it boxed up the whole page.

I've just checked your site, and TC was able to capture all objects there, no matter which method I used. First of all, make sure that TC is started as administrator and that your browser is launched via TestedApps to exclude any permission issues.



Also, what exact object is obtained (what is its FullName) when you try to capture the needed object?

Attached is what I captured. I start the application using Run TestedApp

I found the root cause. TC does not support Firefox v12.

I'm recording on FireFox 18.0.2 and when I try to insert an Object Checkpoint, it fails to pick up the object the mouse is pointing at. It just picks up the whole page.



I did the same in IE 9.0.8, it works fine.



 I'm using TC 9.10.1894.7



Any firefox patch that I need to install to get rid of this issue?

Hello, I've try to create property check point for a popup alert message.  It was woking fine on Chrome and Firefox.  However, it has failed on the Safari.  Is there anyone has experieced similar problem and how did you resolve it?  Thank you very much!
