I asked this of Awesomium, which is similar to CEF, but not quite the same.
I suspect technologies like this are only likely to grow in use so if someone can get on board with them early, they'd be in a good position.
Awesomium modules are currently completely obscured to TC. All I can do with them is click co-ordinates. Which is a bit rubbish. Just means I have to do all my testing using Chrome and then we have to do a manual integration test of the Awesomium version. Depends how many hooks you have between the Awsomium module and your application as to how worthwhile this approach is .... - Hi All,
Our R&D team is currently working on adding support for CEF. However, I cannot give you more precise time estimates at the moment.
Keep an eye on the public announcements and notifications.
- Hi Guys,
I have great news - we have implemented support for Chromium Embedded Framework in TestComplete 10.4.
Please refer to this thread for details.

Sorry for the late arrival on this topic...
But I would like to see TCs to be able to support Cef version 3.2623.1395 and above.....
Currently TCs is lagging behind on supporting Cef by (almost) 6 versions!
To-date Cef ver. 57 are available -> Chromium 57.0 / CEF 3.2987.1601(Chromium 57.0.2987.133)
See Cef Release notes at https://github.com/cefsharp/CefSharp/releases
