Cannot capture field values

Hello,

sorry if I ask simple things, but I'm a newbie of testcomplete.

I'm trying to test an HTML5 web application on firefox (54.0.1) with testcomplete (12.30).

I was able to create a test case (creation of a new order), but, at the end, I'm not able to capture the value of the field "Order Number".  I need to capture the value to use it in subsequent tests.

More in detail, in firefox I just see one big object. I cannot access to the single sub-object field (see image in attachment).

Am I making something wrong?

If not possible to enter in field detail, how can I manage this kind of situation?

Thank you very much in advance,
Luca

To add to shankar_r, this may be a licensing thing as well.  In order to have exposure to objects on web pages, you need to be licensed for web application testing.  Looking at your screenshot, firefox shows up simply as a Process with Windows, not a Browser with the expected browser objects.  It looks like you might only be licensed for Desktop application testing.  Please confer with your SmartBear sales representative to determine if you have the proper licensing for what you want to test.

        Hello,

first of all thanks to both for your answers.

The license should be correct because it is a 30 day trial and it should contain everything.  I'm working hardly with this because I need to understand if it worth buying or not.

Regarding the settings, I checked the HTML5 stuff but not the firefox: so I went through the firefox settings; but, even with this, I still do not know unfortunately how to retrieve the data of one field.

I have attached the new printscreen.

If you can, could you please help?

        Kind Regards, Thanks very much,

        Luca

Another possibility may be your Firefox version. Go to Help | Check for Updates and see if you need to download a patch.
