Can we write data to Excel without opening the document using java script or power shell script?

To access the file from network folder its not working fine . For eg the path is "\\Leo1470\\NewFolder\\Demo.xlsx" , but its throwing error. Any suggestion to solve this?

    Only thing i would think might cause issue, Is there are username and password in-order to access the shared location?

      No . I Found the reason ,the path should be "\\\\Leo...." . Thanks for your response :)

        So, before it was trying to look at your file from C: since path started as \\ (\). Now you changed to \\\\(\\)  and working fine now.
