Best method to compare large data sets without opening excel

Hi,   My team wants to avoid use of excel in our BDD script tests and opening the excel was causing lot of issues.   Is there any alternative method that would be helpful to compare the different...

If you have an Excel file named Book1.xlsx, rename the file to Book1.xlsx.zip. If you then open the zip file, there will be several files which makes up the Excel document. These files you can compare without the need of Excel
