i had the same promlem with an evaluation key. Just for you to under and reproduce ,,,
System that is in use:
HP 8440P incl. Win7 Professional - 32 Bit.
Version a.
+ install Testcomplete version 9.10.1894.7
+ activate the licence online
+ first login > all is working fine
+ close the Testomplete application
+ restart the workstation
+ login to the domaine
+ start Testcomplete
> a pop up appears that indicates that : "Unable to find licence" .....
Version b.
+ install Testcomplete version 9.10.1894.7
+ activate the licence manually (A) with a new key
+ first login > all is working fine
+ performing the tutorial
+ close the Testomplete application
+ restart the workstation
+ login to the domaine
+ start Testcomplete
> a pop up appears that indicates that : "Unable to find licence" .....
+ tried to activate again manually with the v2c file that was created at the (A) process
> Again a pop up that indicates an error.
This is not so fine. An evaluation is not possible under this circumstances.
