ReadyAPI 2.0?

So has anyone gotten a chance to use it yet? What are your thoughts so far? I'm in the middle of preparing for a huge series of testing so I haven't upgraded yet.

Hi IgorG,

 

Thanks for the clarification, it's good to know it's still usable.

 

While I understand the need to deprecate and remove obsolete features, it does not seem that the DataGenerator has a generic Groovy script option, like the DataGen step has. At the moment I don't see how to replace our uses of the DataGen step with the DataGenerator data source.

Radford Data Generator does not. However, DataSource itself does. Hopefully it would be enough. If its not, now would be a great time to raise an issue so that our developers know about it. :)

    Thanks IgorG. I talked to my group mates yesterday and I was able to confirm that instead of creating a Data Gen step, they created their own Data Source instead. I guess the update will really be helpful for users moving forward.
