The ReadAPI installation places some files under <user> on Windows.

is it possible to change this to a path outside of  <user>

During the installation process seen here, you can change the location ReadyAPI is installed to.

As ReadyAPI is installed, it downloads user-specific configuration files such as preferences and settings, project history, logs, temporary files, etc.

As of now, there is no way to modify these user-specific configurations when following SmartBear's best practices and recommended uses of ReadyAPI.

However, that does not mean it is impossible. A configuration of environment variables could possibly give you your intended result. Another option would be moving the .readyapi folder post-installation and creating a symbolic link. This is just speculation though but it could give you some ideas.

    Happy testing!
