Facing Issues with Converged Networking and ReadyAPI 3.45 by SmartBear – Need Some Advice!

Hey member,

I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing issues with converged networking while running ReadyAPI 3.45 by SmartBear. My goal is to optimize the network for efficient resource usage, but I’ve been facing recurring connectivity issues and performance inconsistencies during API testing. This particularly impacts data transmission and causes delays in response times, which can throw off our test results and make it difficult to identify real issues from network-related problems.

For context, we’re running a converged network setup to unify data, storage, and network traffic, but it seems ReadyAPI might be sensitive to certain configurations or load balancing behaviors. I’ve tried adjusting some basic network settings, but the inconsistencies still occur.

Has anyone here encountered similar challenges with ReadyAPI in a converged networking environment? I’m curious if there are specific network configurations, firewall rules, or resource allocation strategies that have worked for others. Additionally, any insights on potential ReadyAPI settings that could help stabilize connectivity would be really helpful. I’m also open to recommendations on best practices for managing network traffic in testing environments where multiple types of traffic are converged.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, and thanks in advance for any advice!

Best,
Jonathan Jone
