Upgrading to Collaborator (8.x) from 6.x

I upgraded the server by installing 7.x, then installing 8.x, w/ backups at each stage.  Now when I open reviews, I get errors in the web page.  I've already contacted support w/ the error logs.   Running the installers went smoothly at least.

You can upgrade directly from v6.x to v.8, however we recommend configuring a test server first as described here:

Your error opening reviews in CodeReviewer is a reported, high priority known issue that we have forwarded to product development to resolve (ref. defect case 70856).



This is directly related only to CodeReviewer v8.0. You may want to consider down-grading until a fix becomes available. You will be notified at that time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Just to clarify, a CodeReviewer license (running any version) does not have the document review feature that you were wanting to see. That feature is only available with the CodeCollaborator/PeerReviewComplete v7.303 license or Collaborator v8.x license.



It should work with a Collaborator trial license.

We encourage you to talk to your sales person to get a trial license.

Keep in mind this is a public server so anything you upload can be seen by all users.
