Error 'Could not convert socket to TLS' when trying to send email from Collaborator.

When I try to send a test email through Collaborator. I get the error message 'Could not convert socket to TLS'. The SMTP settings all appear correct, and I have added these Collaborator server config settings:-

  smartbear.mail.smtp.auth "true"
  smartbear.mail.smtp.starttls.enable "true"
  smartbear.mail.transport.protocol "smtp"

Our SMTP server requires secure authentication using STARTTLS, and is using a self signed certificate. I've tried adding that certificate to the Windows Trusted Root Certificates store, but this doesn't appear to change anything.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Mark
