TestAgent does not send reports to QAComplete
Hi! We have two identically configured VMs.TesComplete and TestExcute are installed there. The automatic tests are controlled from QAComplete. The tests run in TestExcute. VM1 the logs are transferred to QAComplete POST /rest-api/service/automation/v2/hosts/8/runs/4559/items/1/report VM2 the logs in QAComplete are not transferred If I uninstall TestExcute on VM2 and run the tests with TestComplete, then the logs are sent to QAComplete. please tell me how to get qacomplete 12.80 to launch testcomplete15 instead of testcomplete14. Hello we recently updated TestComplete to version 15. Now our automatic QAComplete tests are no longer running on VMs. Test Agent version is 29. We use QAComplete 12.82 to execute TestComplete 14.81 automated testcases across multiple Test Hosts. When I examine failures in QAComplete, the screen captures show different screen sizes between the Test Hosts. For example, screen captures from failures on VM1 show a size of 1737 x 1141, but screen captures from failures on VM2 are 2544 x 1014. The different screen sizes are causing CheckRegion failures in the TestComplete testcases. I am unable to find a setting in QAComplete that controls the screen resolution used when QAComplete connects to a Test Host. I have a test developed in TestComplete 12.50(64bit) The test includes a click action, in a web application through FireFox 61.0.1(64bit) I run the test from QAComplete11.9 through a VM Windows7(64bit). When I use UserA in test agent , the test passes fine . But when I use UserB in test agent , the test reaches the click action, but the click is done in a wrong position , so we don'e get the expected results. Please check the attached screenshots: - The passingClick.png image shows the correct highlighting and click of the object. - The FailingClick.png image shows the click a littel bit above the highlighted object. I tried to reporduce the issue manually by login the VM with UserB , but I couldn't reproduce it. ( I can click manually and get the exepected results). Also I tried to change resolution when I login with UserA and run the automated test,but I couldn't reproduce the issue. It happens only when I run the test from QAComplete , with test agent user UserB. Can anyone help please ?2.3KViews0likes3Comments
