I am using a CSV for a Data-Driven loop but it's not working with a numeric option list
I'm testing a web application and I've created a csv for my Data-Driven loop. It was working great until I tried to populate a numeric option list (a list of about 60 four digit branch numbers). Instead of using the value from the csv to set the option list text, it is attempting to set the option list index. As a result it throws an index out of bounds error. For example: if the branch number in the csv is 1500, rather than selecting 1500 from the option list values, it tries to set the index to 1500. This happens in both IE and Chrome. I haven't tested Firefox yet, but I suspect it will do the same thing. If I use a variable, parameter or a constant rather than using the csv, it selects the numeric value. It only fails when loading data from a csv. Any ideas how to get around this? Thanks, JudySolved2.9KViews0likes8Comments
Why did my steps not separate into their own "step" after importing a CSV file?
I imported a CSV file from Excel. In the Excel spreadsheet, (before converting to CSV), all my steps were in one cell with a carriage return after each step so that each step would display on its own line inside the cell. During import, I chose Step_Steps so that each step would be its own "step" But that didn't happen. All 5 steps were listed as 1 step after import. Does anybody know, why "." is replaced by "#" when getting column names from CSV file? I have WPF grid which is empty by default and it is possible to add columns with names as specified in Schema.ini: [Myfile.csv] Format=CSVDelimited ColNameHeader=True MaxScanRows=0 Col1=ProductText Col2="Price Abs. Data source error using gitlab
Hello, While writing my tests, I import from csv.file data that are used in request (body) but when launched through GitLab, in allure reports my tests failed with : Error:java.io.FileNotFoundException: /projectDir/file.csv (No such file or directory) ----------------- Messages ------------------------------ Could you help me find the right way to write the path? Exporting variable to CVS file to use in a later test
Hi All. I am generating a variable in Test1, that I would like to write/output to a CSV file (or even Excel would work) for use in Test2. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this?
