I will file a support ticket to see if they can show me how to modify the project to bring back Python as the default language. Python Set function is not callable Hello everyone, I have been working on project A and using Python as a default language for a year. Now, I am having a problem when using Python Set function. I get the error message saying "The specified object is not callable". I try to create a new project B and choose Python as a default language and the Python Set function works without any problem. I go back and check the old project A and see the JavaScript is selected (weird, I don't know why). I change it back to Python, save, close and relaunch TestComplete; however, the Python Set function still not be able to run. Can anyone shed some light? I don't want to start over because the project A is big. Thank you very much. Re: Microsoft Chromium Edge comes under Process instead of Browser I am using Test Complete version 14.61.276 and Edge is recognized as browser type. Re: SmartBear Test Extension is not working with Edge Version 85.0.564.44 Marsha_R, I tried all your steps but not successful. I might be wrong, but I think TestComplete cannot recognize the extension. The work-around for me right now is to use Chrome and back to Edge when it works. SmartBear Test Extension is not working with Edge Version 85.0.564.44 TC: 14.61.276 Edge: Version 85.0.564.44 Windows 10 Enterprise Hello, I am trying to install Test Complete Extension for Edge via this page . I enable the extension and be able to see the T.C. extension on the browser as shown in the attached picture. However, when trying to record a test, T.C pops up a message saying the SmartBear extension is not enabled. Can anyone shed some light please? Thank you. SolvedRe: The operation cannot be performed, because the desktop is invisible. Marsha_R, Sean ONeil at SmartBear helped me to solve this issue. There was an extra whitespace at the end in the name of my registry key. The operation cannot be performed, because the desktop is invisible. Hi, In the past, my tests were running fine while remote desktop is minimized. After getting a new computer (this is the one that connects to a remote desktop system), I added a DWORD value named RemoteDesktop_SuppressWhenMinimized and set it to 2 (hexadecimal or decimal) to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client. I also updated TestComplete to version 14.50.976.7 on the remote system. Now, I got the error message saying that :"The operation cannot be performed, because the desktop is invisible." when minimizing the remote desktop. Does anyone seeing the same issue with the latest TestComplete version? Can anyone shed some light? Thanks. SolvedRe: Working command line does not work in batch file tristaanogrewrote: You need to actually reference the TestComplete tool. REM Clears the screen CLS @ECHO OFF REM Launches TestComplete, REM executes the specified project REM and closes TestComplete when the run is over "C:\Program FIles (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 14\bin\TestComplete.exe" "C:\Works\DriverLicense\DLS_SmokeTest.pjs" /r /p:DLS_SmokeTest /t:"KeywordTests|MyTests" /run /exit IF ERRORLEVEL 1001 GOTO NotEnoughDiskSpace IF ERRORLEVEL 1000 GOTO AnotherInstance ... ... :End From CMD, I cd toC:\Program FIles (x86)\SmartBear\TestComplete 14\bin\.
