Re: Automating GUITesting project
hi, here is an article on how to send the results via email. I think it would be best to implement the process of saving the results and sending them as an KeywordTest. If you use a build-script or a build-server you could extend your build with your command-line call. Here is an overview of the TestComplete Command Line A build-Server would have several advantages like automated build and test execution on commits or other events, email-notifications and the test execution would not have to run locally. Hi everyone, is it somehow possible to rename the columns of table variable (perhaps with a script)? If a column get's a new header in our WPF-App the tablecheckpoints don't work anymore, because the columns seem to be missing. The problem is that, when creating the table store, the column recognition works via the columns' headers. Same problem exists when we run our app in antorher language. The tested tabular controls are DevExpress GridControls. Another solution for us would be to get Testcomplete to recognize table columns via x:Name or any other property that is independant of column headers. Hi schwarz, Is your Problem still existent? Which properties did you use to map your window in the NameMapping? I think some properties may not be constant in different runs or may have change with Windows 10. It would be great if you could provide the mapping info of your testet window. I've found something out myself: Let's assume the DataGrid has a collection of ViewModels of type MyModel with a Property MyNumber. If the property MyNumber is bound to agrid column via FieldName MyNumber occurs in the Table-Wizzard. If I provide a Header für the Column, let's say MeineNummer. The Table-Wizzard only shows MeineNummer. The Problem is that the Header is localized and therefore isn't constant in different test-runs in different languages. Is it possible to ignore or surpress the usage of the Header-Names and identify the columnsvia the property-nameinstead? Hello, I want to check the content of a Devexpress DataGrid with Table Checkpoints in our WPF-App. I created the table objects, and the Table Checkpoints worked as expexted. Now I want to use the Same Table Checkpoints on the same Software but in another language. This doesn't work because the columns don't exist. It seems, that the columns are recognized by the column headers. I tried to provide x:Names to the GridColumns but they don't occur in the Table-Wizzard. Is it possible to recognize the table columns another way, that is not affected by the localized column headers. Thanks in advance Sebastian722Views0likes1Comment
