In only one of my projects, I am unable to see the fast edit page. After selecting Fast Edit, and clicking on the hyperlink to Update, Copy, etc., a blank page comes up. This only happens on one project and only since yesterday. I have been managing this project for the past month, now I cannot Fast Edit anything. I can do this in any other project, just not this one. Also, all other Security Admins can do Fast Edit. This only happens to me. See screen shot. Uploading tests into folders We have thousands of tests in our testing events that must be organized in folders by applications and often sub folders for Day 1, Day 2,Day due to the hospital workflows we test. Right now all folders must be created manually in QAC. When we were on HP ALM we were able to build our folder structure into the upload path and ALM would create the folders so we never had to do that manually. This manual effort can take quite awhile, and in a resource/time constrained environment every minute/hour counts. Suggestion: Make it possible to define the folder names/structure in the upload *.csv file and enhance tool to create the folders automatically during the upload processing. Test copying When you copy tests from one project to another in QAC, all related items are copied as well, copying history, notes and attachments from the original items. We re use test cases frequently and are often asked to copy previously executed test cases over to new projects. It is inconvenient to go through the new tests and delete all history, notes and attachments. I believe the alternative is to upload fresh tests every time. Since we deal with thousands of tests the ability to copy tests from one project to another creating a brand new instance of that test is important. Suggestion: A Fast Edit option to copy the test, or multiple tests only, without pulling over any history, notes or attachments from the copy source. I am unable to generate reports in 11.0 reports module in QAComplete 11.1 Has anyone else had problems generating reports from the new Report module in QAC 11.*? I have 11.1 upgraded from 10.2 and am unable to generate adhoc reports with the new module. FYI-I have also submitted a ticket #00191077 TestComplete is local install and source control needs to be on a remote VM server We have two local installations of TestComplete on two laptops. We are looking to utilize GIT or Subversion as source control, but will need to install on remote VMs. Is there any SmartBear documentation available that discusses this type of set up in detail? SolvedRe: An item I need to 'Group By' is not displaying in the 'Group By' dropdown. If that also happened on the other related projects I built with the identical fields using the same list I might agree. However, this is the only project not displaying the custom field as a Group By option. Also, we were able to group the Level 3 by this value earlier this morning. When my co-worker changed the grouping levels the field he needed to Group By mysteriously disappeared from the dropdown selection. He did enter a ticket for this, but I wanted to query the community to see if anyone else has come across this. An item I need to 'Group By' is not displaying in the 'Group By' dropdown. I have been using the Group By feature to Group tests on 3 Levels. I have multiple projects using the same Group By selections. However, one project I have recently set up is missing one of the options from all 3 Levels that I need to Group By. The field is present in Test Library where I am grouping tests, but does not display in the Group By dropdown. QAC upgrade to 11.1 I am currently on QAC 10.2.
