TestComplete is local install and source control needs to be on a remote VM server

Question

We have two local&nbsp;installations of TestComplete on two laptops.&nbsp; We are looking to utilize GIT or Subversion as source control, but will need to install on remote VMs.&nbsp; Is there any SmartBear&nbsp;documentation available that discusses this type of set up in detail?
