Just want to clear I do not think that me saying there is no support is a solution, since someone has marked it as such and I do not see a way to revert that. Support gave me a solution which does work, but I am not sure why. You need launch TestComplete/TestExecute from the cmd line and use the /legacySLM switch. There is currently no functioning support for QT in the latest release of TestComplete, none of the information here will solve the issue. Smartbear needs to provide a fix. This was broken in the 15.72 release and has not been fixed since. Please report this to support as many times as possible if you haven't already. I am told that this issue is now "Critical" and has been escalated due to the number of customers being affected. As of today all QT Desktop Testing is still broken in the current releases of TC. They are apparently working on it, but it is still completely broken and non-functional in the current release. Just an update for anyone trying to use QT applications. I have confirmed with support that QT support is broken in any practical sense all builds beyond TC 15.71, for all versions of QT. They say they are looking into a fix and that "a larger bunch of work is being planned specifically to improve and restore full support for Qt in the upcoming releases of TestComplete." QT 6.2 is no longer in LTS it ended last year. I do not know why Smartbear has not updated their documentation that is on them, but the current release of TC does not support QT 6.2 at all. That support was removed with the 15.72 update, and per support that was on purpose(doesn't make sense to me, but that is what we have been told). I have already reported the issue to support, just looking to see if others are experiencing the same issue or have tried it because I am hoping for a quicker solution than waiting the support team.
