Please see attached. Re: Test Execute is hanging for ever when it doesn't find what is expected Why is it looking for Firefox which it didn't before. I always run in IE, so i don't need it to check in firefox. How can remove this Enivonment Manager element form project suite. I have onlyon test running every half an hour. Re: Test Execute is hanging for ever when it doesn't find what is expected I looked at and i didn't see silent.log file anywhere in the project folder. I will still look into to see any clues but this Isssue didn't happen in Text Execute or TestComplete verson 10 at all. The scripts are suppose to run every 1/2 hour . Looks like it hanged today at 6:00 am and the scripts didn't execute since then. This needs to be fixed. 1.Should I remove extended find at all levels of name mapping? 2. Also when ever I try to edit name mapping of an action , now it asks to open the following url in Browser (Firefox) which I didn't see before. Is this b'se I added Environment Manager in Project Suite. Is this delaying in finding things? I don't see an option to delete this element. Please suggest. Re: Test Execute is hanging for ever when it doesn't find what is expected ok, but the problem is as I am ending the Test Execute task everytime, it doesn't post any log too. Test Execute is hanging for ever when it doesn't find what is expected I am running the scripts on a remote machine with TestExecute 12.20.935.11 through Task Schedular every half an hour. TestExecute hangs and doesn't comeout at all when it doesn't find an object what is expected. So it skips running the tasks following times until I loginto machine and end the TestExecute using Task Manager. It doesn't stop for quiet somE time even when i click on Stop on TestExecute. So I have to end the task. I configured to save last 10 logs on TestExecute and that's what it shows. Timeout to send, receive etc are set to 600s. Not sure what's going on. Re: How to run make scripts run successfully on a virtual machine that is locked? Thanks again for wonderful support. Re: How to run make scripts run successfully on a virtual machine that is locked? ok, I contacted our Admin and learnt to run Task schedular with Administartors group and now the scripts run fine. On Task Schedular under Security options, Change User or Group to Administrators. Thanks a lot. Re: How to run make scripts run successfully on a virtual machine that is locked? Hi, Looks like even though I am disconnecting from the remote machine it is getting locked after a while and the scripts are failing. Running the scripts as Administrator will not lock the machine? Re: How to run make scripts run successfully on a virtual machine that is locked? ok, Thanks. I will get back to you. Re: How to run make scripts run successfully on a virtual machine that is locked? I am doing the same. 1. I am running batch file on remote machine and disconnecting. 2. I am letting the scripts run through task schedular without locking my desktop. 3. The scripts run fine if they trigger within 10 to 15 minutes of me disconnecting from remote machine but after that they keep failing. 4. Same this happens when i lock my desktop with remote machine disconnected. 5. I tried to remove the screen saver but it still keeps failing with the screen shot of screen saver. Please see the screen shot of attached log. the explorer had the expected url, the script entered userId and Password and after that the screen saver appeared. Looks like it is locked after that. What I didn't understand is how did it lock the screen when activity on the screen is going on. Anyways the scripts fail when the remote machine is locked even after disconnecting from that.
